Lemnos is the eighth larger in size island of Greece (476 sq. km) and the four larger in coast line length (260 km.). It is located in the northern-eastern part of the Aegean Sea, between Agio Oros, Samothrace, Imbros, Lesvos and Agios Efstratios. The capital city of the island is called Myrina, named after the wife of Thoadas, the first kind of the island. In Myrina, the main port of Lemnos is found as well as the paved market of the island with all the stores.
The traditional villages of Lemnos (Thnos, Kaskpakas, Paleo Pedino, Kontias, Konstopouli) have proven to be of great interest for each visitor.
